Aryna Sabalenka
Sabalenka is Belarusian born in Minsk. Sergey Her father (who died in 2019) was a ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5th, 1998 in Minsk Belarus. There are 12 WTA titles in her career. Among them is that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Doubles is an additional area in which she is a pro. In the US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021, US Open 2019, and Australian Open 2021 were both played by Elise Martens. Additionally, she was able to complete an incredible Sunshine Double in 2019, by winning in the WTA 1000 at Indian Wells, Miami and the Australian Open alongside Elise Mertens. The feat was made possible by four couples competing in the women's doubles. On 23 August 2021 she rose to second position in the singles world ranking her top ranking again in January 2023. When she played doubles, she managed to push herself into first position on February the following year following her victory in Melbourne becoming thus the second tennis player from Belarus to succeed in this area. She was coached by the former Russian tennis pro Dmitry Tursunov from 2018 until the close of the season of 2019 and also from the beginning of 2020. She also briefly teamed up with Dieter Kindlmann from August to September of 2020. She is being trained by her fellow countryman Antonio Dubrov since the end of 2020. Serena Williams is her role model, then Maria Sharapova.
